    * Prepare materials take-offs, bill of materials, and construction work packs

    * Interpret project specifications, customer requirements, and interface details into deliverables

    * Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination

    * Support pricing, detailed engineering, and technical queries

    * Ensure all work complies with BS, EN, API, ASME, ANSI standards and company QA processes

    * Conduct site surveys onshore and offshore, producing accurate reports

    * Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors as required

    Qualifications & Requirements

    * HND or equivalent in Piping, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline

    * Minimum 5 years’ experience in offshore oil and gas or petrochemical piping design

    * Experience in topsides piping design for greenfield and brownfield projects

    * Proven client-facing experience and ability to hold technical meetings

    * Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 codes

    * Proficient in 3D and 2D design software, including Aveva E3D and AutoCAD

    * Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

    * Professional, approachable, and collaborative with onshore and offshore teams

    * Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently under pressure

    What’s in it for you

    The offshore oil and gas sector provides exposure to challenging, high-profile projects with clear career development opportunities. You will gain experience on complex piping systems and contribute directly to safe, efficient offshore operations.

    * Competitive contract rates

    * Career progression and technical development pathways

    * Collaborative, supportive team environment

    * Hands-on involvement with construction and offshore interfaces

    * Exposure to advanced 3D design and model review tools

    * Strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation
