How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of product quality within a fast-paced, high-technology manufacturing environment. Acting as a key point of contact for product quality improvement, you will play a central role in driving performance across a range of advanced products, working closely with teams across quality, production, and supply chain.

You will lead investigations into escalated quality issues, using structured problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions. By analysing field failures and internal data, you will translate findings into practical improvements and ensure issues are resolved in a sustainable way.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality controls, support operational improvements, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, driving the timely closure of corrective actions, and supporting new product introduction through audits and risk assessments.

Based in a modern, well-invested manufacturing facility, this role offers the chance to work on innovative, market-leading technology within a forward-thinking environment.

We are looking for someone with experience in product quality improvement within a manufacturing or engineering setting. You should be confident leading investigations, using tools such as 8D, and influencing teams to drive change.

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with quality tools such as SPC, Six Sigma, APQP, control plans, FMEA, and knowledge of ISO9001 would be beneficial.

    Requirements:

Experience leading product quality investigations and driving root cause analysis using structured methodologies such as 8D
    • Ability to analyse field failures and internal quality data, translating findings into effective corrective actions and improvements
    •  Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams to improve quality performance within a manufacturing or engineering environment
    Salary description

    £45000.00 - £55000.00 per year
