Your new company
You will be working on behalf of Hays for a well-established and reputable new-build housing developer operating in the Staveley area. The site is approaching key handover stages, and the team requires additional freelance support to complete finishing and snagging works to a high standard.

Your new role
As a Freelance Handyperson, you will be responsible for a wide range of finishing duties across new-build plots, including:
Paint touch‑ups and patch repairsMastic/sealant work
Basic joinery tasksMinor plaster/filler work
General snagging and quality finishing
Cleaning and preparing homes ready for customer handover
Supporting the site team with any additional tasks as required
This role requires someone who can work independently, manage their own workload, and maintain a professional standard throughout.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a handyperson or finishing role on new build developments
Strong painting, patching, and mastic skills
Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail
Own tools and transport
Reliability, professionalism, and ability to start immediately
