Midlands or Southwest based, covering major UK industrial and process manufacturing sites
Are you a Technical Sales Engineer with experience selling into heavy industry, such as steel, cement, paper or similar process environments, looking for a role where you can take ownership of developing new business and growing key accounts?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established international engineering manufacturer specialising in filtration and fluid management systems used to improve equipment reliability across large scale industrial sites.
You will be responsible for developing new business across your region, working directly with plant managers, maintenance teams and reliability engineers to identify opportunities and deliver technical solutions around lubrication, hydraulics and equipment performance.
This is a field based role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, building relationships, and proactively generating opportunities, rather than sitting back managing inbound work.
The Role:
Develop new business across process manufacturing sites including steel, cement, paper and heavy industry
Carry out site visits, surveys and technical discussions with maintenance and reliability teams
Sell engineering solutions focused on hydraulics, lubrication and equipment performance
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to order and aftersales support
Build long term customer relationships across your regionThe Person:
Technical sales experience within industrial or engineering environments
Experience selling hydraulics, lubrication, fluid power or similar industrial systems
Background working on or around process manufacturing or heavy industrial sites
Proactive, driven and comfortable developing new business
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships on site
