The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, this is a newly created role, offering the chance to shape and influence packaging strategy from day one.
The Role
As Senior Packaging Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, high-end packaging solutions across a diverse and premium product range.
You will take ownership of projects from concept through to launch, ensuring packaging reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and standout shelf presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of premium, design-led packaging formats
* Manage projects from concept through to factory implementation
* Specify materials, finishes, and print processes aligned with brand standards
* Ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and retailer requirements
* Drive sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement
* Work closely with NPD, Marketing, Procurement, and external suppliers
* Conduct packaging trials and support production scale-up
* Manage and develop supplier relationships
About You
* Proven experience in food packaging development, ideally within a branded or premium environment
* Strong knowledge of materials, print processes, and packaging technologies
* Experience delivering projects from concept through to launch
* Commercially aware with strong project management skills
* High attention to detail and a passion for quality and design
* Confident working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders
