The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Shift Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity to work within a global, supportive, down-to-earth team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining critical plant equipment and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across plant equipment
* Work on motors, transformers, switchgear, breakers, and lighting systems
* Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and condition monitoring
* Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
* Use CMMS systems to log work and maintain accurate records
* Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems and safety procedures
* Conduct plant isolations (where authorised)
* Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities
* Provide clear shift handovers and reports
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety
What We’re Looking For
* HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
* Time-served Electrical Technician or equivalent experience
* Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments
* Strong ability to work independently, particularly on night shifts
* Solid knowledge of:
* LV systems and equipment – MCC, Drives, Frequency drives, Motors etc
* Basic automation / control systems and instrumentation
* Experience reading and interpreting electrical and process drawings
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* 17th/18th Edition desirable
* Experience within Chemicals, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Food & Beverage etc

* Shift Pattern: 12-hour rotating shifts (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) – you will work half the year due to shifts!
