A well-established technology business is looking to strengthen its infrastructure support team, working within a live, high-availability environment
This is a hands-on support role focused on keeping core systems running smoothly, rather than delivering projects
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting Microsoft-based production systems in a live environment
• Investigating alerts, diagnosing issues and resolving faults
• Carrying out maintenance and controlled system changes
• Working closely with internal teams to maintain service availability
• Ensuring systems remain stable, secure and performant
Tech stack:
• Windows Server / Windows OS
• IIS and web-hosted applications
• SSL certificates and security configuration
• Azure infrastructure
• Load balancing and high-availability setups
• Monitoring tools and alert-driven environments
What they’re looking for:
• Strong experience supporting Windows-based environments
• Comfortable working with IIS and web applications
• Good understanding of certificates and system security
• Experience in cloud or hybrid environments (Azure ideal)
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
• Able to work a shift pattern on-site in Oxford (4 on, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off)
