Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location - Cockburnspath, Scotland

Salary: £40,000 (depending on experience)

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days Only)

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Sector - Industrial Manufacturing

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
Must hold a recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
Proven experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to work independently on a days-only continental shift pattern

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
Experience working with PLC systems, including basic fault finding using inputs and outputs
Continuous improvement mindset and experience supporting reliability initiatives
