Our client is a well-established outfit, who offer a variety of compliance services to their clients, including Water Hygiene / Legionella compliance. They are seeking a multi-skilled Legionella Plumber, who can demonstrate strong hands-on experience and technical knowledge. The role will involve a diverse range of servicing and installations of domestic and commercial plumbing systems, including: tank refurbishments and deadleg removals. You will be travelling across: Walsall, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Dudley, Burntwood, Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock, Rugeley, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Stafford, Telford.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Track record working as a Plumber within a Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit
* Qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket
* Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in plumbing, and ideally the NVQ Level 3
* Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Hardworking attitude
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
* Attending client sites to conduct predominantly pre-planned maintenance and some emergency works where needed
* Installations of vented and unvented cylinders and servicing of existing units
* TMV servicing and replacements
* CWST replacements, repairs and refurbishments
* Deadleg removals
* Replacements of components, such as: valves, pipework, vessels and taps
* Fault-finding on existing systems and making recommendations for remedial works
* Interpreting legionella risk assessments to determine required works
* Pricing for parts and materials
* Producing detailed service reports
