How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to diverse infrastructure projects, utilising advanced civil engineering software and project management skills.     Duties

    * Develop and review civil engineering designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and System design tools.

    * Prepare detailed schematics, technical drawings, and land surveying plans in accordance with project specifications.

    * Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery.

    * Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.

    * Conduct site visits for land surveying, construction supervision, and system installation verification.

    * Utilise ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping tasks relevant to project planning and development.

    * Oversee the creation of construction documents and assist in the review of contractor submissions.

    * Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations throughout all phases of the project.

    * Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and system design documentation for internal review and client presentation.

    Qualifications

    * Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

    * Proven experience with civil engineering software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and Mathcad.

    * Strong understanding of project management principles within the construction or land development sectors.

    * Knowledge of land surveying techniques and systems design processes.

    * Familiarity with schematics creation and system integration in civil projects.

    * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    * Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.

    * Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. This role is ideal for a proactive civil engineer looking to advance their career by working on innovative infrastructure projects while applying their technical expertise in a supportive environment.
