Pertemps West Bromwich are currently looking for a rolling mill operator for a well established manufacturer based in Oldbury.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate rolling mill/roll forming machinery according to production specifications
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality
Conduct routine checks and inspections to ensure all products meet required standards
Perform basic maintenance for minor machine issues
Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Ensure production targets are met within established timeframes
Follow all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work area
Complete required production paperwork accurately
Requirements
Previous experience operating roll forming/rolling mill machines
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and specifications
Good understanding of manufacturing safety practices
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours: This will be a fixed night shift working 18:00-04:30 Monday-Wednesday and 18:00-01:00 Thursday.
Pay: The rate of pay to start would be either £15.56 per hour or £16.48 per hour dependant on experience with a night shift allowance on top. This would be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
