How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SEN Teacher 
    Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Long-Term Opportunity
    Daily Rate: £160 – £280 per day
    Location: Twickenham
    Start Date: April Start

    We are seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary SEN school in Twickenham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and make a meaningful difference in their learning, development, and wellbeing.

    The successful candidate will work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties. The role involves delivering highly differentiated and personalised learning to support pupils in reaching their individual EHCP targets.

    Key Responsibilities
    Plan and deliver tailored, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
    Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
    Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
    Implement strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
    Create a structured, safe, and nurturing learning environment
    Use adapted teaching approaches, sensory strategies, and visual supports where appropriate
    Monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies to support individual development The Ideal Candidate Will Have
    Experience working with pupils with SEN / SEND in a school or specialist setting
    Knowledge of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, or learning difficulties
    A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning
    The ability to build strong relationships with pupils who require additional support
    Strong classroom management and inclusive teaching strategies
    QTS or relevant teaching qualification (desirable but not essential depending on experience)
