    Job description

SST Sensing Ltd, part of the DwyerOmega Group, is looking for an organised and customer‑focused Sales Administrator to join our Sales & Marketing team in Coatbridge. This is a key role supporting sales operations, customer experience, and order management in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

SST Sensing designs and manufactures electronic sensors and instruments, specialising in fluid and gas sensing solutions supplied to a wide range of industries worldwide. Established in 2002, our modern manufacturing facility is based at Shawhead Industrial Estate, Coatbridge, with excellent transport links via the A8/M8.

As Sales Administrator, you’ll act as a vital link between customers, sales, production, and internal teams. You’ll ensure orders are processed accurately and on time, support sales reporting and forecasting, and deliver excellent customer service throughout the order lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, customer interaction, and supporting commercial teams to succeed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process customer orders using ERP and CRM systems, ensuring accurate data capture
    • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and order enquiries
    • Liaise with production and scheduling teams to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery
    • Arrange shipments, issue invoices, manage proforma invoices, and conduct credit checks
    • Support sales teams with reporting, forecasting, pipeline data, and KPI tracking
    • Maintain customer records, price lists, discounts, and sales documentation
    • Provide operational support to Sales Engineering, including backup quotation support and Salesforce input

    What We’re Looking For

    • Previous experience in a Sales Administration, Customer Service, or commercial admin role (highly desirable)
    • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
    • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
    • Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
    • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams

    What We Offer

    • A varied and responsible role at the heart of the sales operation
    • Exposure to international customers and cross‑functional teams
    • Supportive working environment within a global organisation
    • Opportunities for learning and development
    • Occasional flexibility in working hours to support business needs

If you’re detail‑driven, commercially aware, and enjoy supporting sales teams while delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
