How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    KS2 Class Teacher – Ealing – September

A well-regarded and high-achieving primary school in Ealing is looking to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher for a September start.

This is a welcoming and inclusive Primary School with a strong sense of community and high expectations for both pupils and staff. Leaders are keen to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and contribute positively to school life.

School & KS2 Class Teacher Role Overview:

    • Established primary school in Ealing with around 410 pupils (including Reception)
    • Two-form entry with a collaborative KS2 team
    • Diverse intake with pupils and staff from a range of faiths and backgrounds
    • Strong focus on music, choir and school productions
    • Inner London Main Pay Scale (£40,317 – £62,496)

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be part of a supportive team where planning and resources are often shared across year groups. The school maintains high standards in teaching and learning, supported by a structured curriculum and clear expectations.

The school places a strong emphasis on the wider curriculum, particularly in the arts. Music plays a big role in school life, with regular singing, performances and productions that staff are encouraged to be part of.

There is also a clear commitment to staff development. Support staff are often encouraged to progress into teaching through SCITT programmes, and teachers benefit from a culture that values growth and progression.

As a Church of England school, there are regular links with the local church, including visits each half-term, contributing to the school’s strong sense of community and shared values.

Pupils are well behaved, engaged in their learning and supported to develop both academically and personally. Staff work closely together to ensure all pupils are given the opportunity to succeed.

The successful KS2 Class Teacher will be enthusiastic, organised and committed to delivering high-quality teaching. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.

If you are a KS2 Class Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Ealing this September, apply today to find out more.
