We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Risk & Compliance team within their Belfast office on a full or part-time basis.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Risks practice, supporting the daily operations of the firm across all matters related to risk and compliance. The candidate’s duties will include supporting the management of partnership office matters through close collaboration with HR, such as lateral partner onboarding, partnership documentation, retirement, and related governance matters. Responsibilities also include reviewing and advising on client engagement terms, assisting with the review of supplier agreements, and conducting periodic reviews of firm policies and procedures.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the firm remains compliant with all obligations, including Data Protection, SRA and FCA regulation, protecting the firm, its clients, and its reputation.
Essential Criteria
- 1-5 PQE;
- Strong background in litigation and/or property damage claims;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
