Warlingham Park School is seeking to appoint an energetic, highly motivated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher who is passionate about outstanding earning and teaching. We would like to hear from team players who will bring a genuine love of education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing and wider school life. We are looking for qualified teachers with QTS who have experience of working within the KS1 curriculum. The successful teacher will show a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating child-centered learning environment. Teachers should be committed to ongoing school improvement and feel comfortable in a climate of change and innovative development. Teachers at Warlingham Park are expected to contribute to the co-curricular programme of activities

Based in Warlingham, Surrey, Warlingham Park Preparatory School is a truly inclusive, co-educational independent school for children aged 6 months to 11 years. - Are a qualified teacher who has completed appropriate QTS teacher training
- Are confident in teaching a broad range of subjects within the KS1 curriculum.
- Are able to provide an inclusive learning environment to suit all pupils
- Are willing to work with the school SENDCo to support pupils’ needs
- Are able to commit to and share the school’s values.
- Are able to meet all of the DfE Teachers’ standards
- Are dynamic, self-motivated and flexible
- Have high expectations of all pupils’ attainment, progress and behaviour
- Have strong digital skills – for enhancing learning and work efficiency
- Have a personal philosophy of teaching which reflects our approach
- Work effectively as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues
- Plan effectively and are sensitive to the learning needs of pupils of different abilities
- Regularly assesses pupils’ work formally and informally, using Assessment for Learning strategies
- Are approachable and confident in dealings with pupils’ parents and external agencies
- Have good administration skills
- Have good class management skills
- Are enthusiastic, innovative and creative with a commitment to the extra-curricular life of the school
