Drivers Mate

Vanta Staffing High Wycombe is seeking to recruit 5 x Drivers’ Mates to join busy logistics companies in and around High Wycombe. Candidates must be physically fit, reliable, and customer-focused. Please note this is a fast-paced and physically demanding role; excellent communication skills are essential.

Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required.

7:00 AM – 4:30 PM – up to 45 hours per week, including occasional weekend shifts. Regular work.

£13.00 per hour.

This is a temporary ongoing position with potential to become permanent. Immediate starts are available.

Key Responsibilities of a Drivers’ Mate

- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading furniture items; some items may weigh over 50kg. Full training will be provided.

- Carrying out manual labour tasks efficiently and safely.

- Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth operations.

- Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude and delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements for Drivers’ Mates

- Reliable with excellent timekeeping.

- Physically strong and fit to handle the demands of the role.
