    Job description

    Peacock Sourcing Limited are currently recruiting for a UAV Technician to work for their well-established client based in Swindon

    In this role you will join a rapidly expanding and innovative business specialising in the design, assembly, and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). With a busy year ahead, our client is in urgent need of skilled and detail-oriented technicians with hands-on technical experience.

    The ideal candidate should have:

    Previous experience working in a technical or manufacturing environment, ideally involving UAVs, electronics, or precision assembly.

    * Experience using hand tools and working with mechanical and electrical components.
    Basic knowledge of electronics, wiring, soldering, and diagnostics is highly advantageous.

    * Experience with flight systems, UAV components, or RC systems is desirable but not essential.

    * Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.

    * Good problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

    * Be punctual, reliable, and able to work to deadlines.

    * The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Working Hours

    Mon – Fri (Full-time hours)

    Pay

    £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    Duties

    As a UAV Technician you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining UAV systems, including mechanical builds and electronic components.

    You will carry out diagnostics, repairs, and quality control checks to ensure all UAVs meet performance and safety standards.

    You will assist with prototyping, modifications, and continuous improvement of UAV systems as the business expands its product range.

    You may also be required to support field testing and occasional on-site technical support (travel expenses covered).
