About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Newham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students across a range of subjects and abilities, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work with individuals and small groups of students to reinforce learning
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
Provide targeted support for students with additional needs (including SEND)
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students' emotional wellbeing and encourage positive attitudes to learning
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where appropriateAbout You

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
