Contracts Manager

We are working with a long standing client who are an established and highly regarded regional main contractor who are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Oxfordshire office due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.

The Oxfordshire region operates with an annual turnover of £40m–£60m, delivering a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects across the county and surrounding areas. With a strong presence across public and private sectors, the team continues to secure repeat business through long-standing client relationships and framework agreements.

🏗️ About the Role

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects across Oxfordshire, ensuring delivery from pre-construction through to completion. You will work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Project Values: Typically £3m – £20m

👷‍♂️ Key Responsibilities

* Overseeing multiple live projects across Oxfordshire

* Managing and supporting Project Managers & Site Managers

* Ensuring programme, quality, and commercial objectives are met

* Building and maintaining strong client relationships

* Supporting pre-construction and tender stages

* Managing risk and ensuring health & safety compliance

* Reporting to Regional/Operations Director

✅ Requirements

* Experience working for a main contractor

* Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager

* Track record delivering projects valued £3m–£20m

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Client-facing experience

* SMSTS, CSCS (preferred)
