A leading organisation within the UK sheet metal industry is expanding its Service Department and is looking to recruit multiple Planned Service Engineers across the South.

The Role
As a Planned Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and support of specialist machinery at customer sites.
Key responsibilities include:
* Diagnosing and repairing machine faults and breakdowns
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Installing and commissioning equipment when required
* Training customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety
* Promoting service contracts, consumables, and equipment upgrades
* Delivering high levels of customer service at all times
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A recognised engineering qualification (HNC / HND / Degree or Apprenticeship)
* Experience working with machine tools or similar equipment (preferred)
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills and ability to read schematics
* Knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
* A proactive, self-motivated approach
* Excellent communication skills across all levels
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Flexibility to travel and adapt working hours when required
Salary description
£25000.00 - £35000.00 per year
