Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the on-site team at a commercial facility in Birmingham City Centre. This role offers a great work-life balance alongside strong training and progression opportunities within a supportive engineering environment.
What you'll do:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical building services plant.
Perform fault finding and repairs on systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated electrical equipment.
Ensure all electrical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance and statutory regulations.
Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations.
Assist with small works, upgrades, and general maintenance tasks across the site.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll bring:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
City & Guilds / NVQ in an Electrical discipline.
Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
