Your new role Are you looking to step into a truly global finance role where you'll work across multiple regions, complex entities and a modernised accounting environment? This organisation is expanding its team and is seeking a talented Accountant to join the team in Bristol.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in delivering an efficient month‑end close across multiple markets while partnering closely with an established offshore team.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing journals and supporting month‑end close to strict group timetables
Managing intercompany, fixed assets, cash management and balance sheet reconciliations
Reviewing offshore processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and SLA performance
Conducting initial P&L reviews and maintaining balance sheet integrity
Updating SOPs and challenging inefficient processes to drive global consistency
Supporting Financial Control, external auditors and wider finance stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed

Several years' experience in an accounting role within a large or complex business
Strong Excel skills and experience with major financial systems
Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability and confidence working to tight deadlines
Experience collaborating with offshore teams is highly desirable
Part‑qualified accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) with no more than four exams remainingWhat you'll get in return
