    Job description

Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor – Regional Build Contractor (Permanent or Freelance)

We’re a busy regional construction firm delivering a range of projects across [region]. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a hands-on Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team, either on a permanent or freelance basis.

    The Role:
This isn’t a desk-only position – you’ll be actively involved in all aspects of quantity surveying across live projects. You’ll take responsibility for cost planning, measurement, tender preparation, contract administration, valuations, and final account settlements. Your expertise will directly support project teams to deliver on budget, on time, and to the highest standard.

    About You:

    * Proven experience as a quantity surveyor in the construction industry.

    * Fully competent in hands-on measurement, estimating, and contract administration.

    * Able to lead QS teams or take full ownership of project costs on multiple projects.

    * Confident in client and contractor liaison.

    * Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

    What We Offer:

    * A varied workload across interesting regional projects.

    * Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth.

    * Competitive salary or day rate, depending on permanent or freelance arrangement.

If you’re a proactive, hands-on QS professional looking for a role where your input really matters, we want to hear from you
