Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Chef to join our vibrant new culinary team. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
* Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
* Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
* Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality
* Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service
* Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Pizza preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
* Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making and general meal preparation
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Previous experience working in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is desirable
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
