About our Client
My client and a specialist façade sub-contractor within the building envelope sector. They specialise cladding and curtain walling projects across the South East. These projects could be any value from £250k to £8million. Now they are looking to bring on an experienced Design Manager.
About the Role
• To review the contract documents and establish and understanding of our contractual obligations in respect of our scope of works
• Ensure that the design programme is being achieved and report internally any issues
• Ensure or prepare necessary RFI schedule for timely submission in line with our internal design programme and advise of any issue to the operations manager or QS
• Ensure drawing register, with dates to record submission, comments received, amended drawing issue and final approval date for all projects
• Attend internal project review meetings with the relevant project team members
• Meet specialist subcontractors and suppliers to co-ordinate design and obtain information as required for to provide overall design responsibility
About the Candidate
• Previously held a Design Manager / Team Leader position for at least 2 years
• Must come from facades background
• Happy to work from home and travel to Winchester when required

£55000.00 - £75000.00 per year
