Our client is a leading provider of construction consulting services, with civil and structural engineering at its core. Their busy office in St Albans has a healthy workload and as a result they are seeking a civil engineer. Candidates up to senior level will be considered.

They require a detail-oriented engineer who can take on responsibility for designing, analysing and working on construction of various projects, ensuring they are safe and sustainable.

You will need a degree in civil engineering and have at least 4 years' UK consultancy experience, with sound knowledge of engineering principals, technical drawings and planning data. Experience in roads and drainage design is vital, along with the ability to solve problems and offer solutions. FRA's and Drainage Strategy Reports will be something you have done before and you should have experience in the use of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage. If you are familiar with AutoDesk Revit, Navisworks and Infraworks this would be an advantage.

At the more senior level you will be responsible for overseeing a team and assisting in their learning and development.
