Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who have a great opportunity in their Frankfurt office for a Senior Structural Engineer to support the delivery of complex international projects, including data centres and large-scale developments.
The role involves preparing detailed structural calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures, including both precast and in-situ solutions, alongside developing efficient design concepts through variant analysis and preliminary design. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering practical structural solutions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to system and design development, while also carrying out site inspections as required.
Candidates will hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) and bring strong experience in structural design, particularly in steel and reinforced concrete. Proven expertise using design software such as RFEM and FRILO is essential, along with a solid understanding of Eurocodes and relevant standards; familiarity with HOAI phases and RIBA stages is advantageous. Experience in data centre projects would be beneficial.
Strong communication skills, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are key. Fluency in German and English is required, along with a willingness to travel across Europe and a full driving licence.
