Fire Technician

We are recruiting for a Fire Technician with Multitraded Operative experience to join a leading property services organisation based in Oxfordshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver complex, high-quality work to ensure full customer satisfaction, working with other team members as well as ensuring smooth project execution and timely completion.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced fire safety professional to lead and deliver high-quality installation, fire stopping, and surveying services in line with current regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

. Carry out detailed fire door and passive fire surveys, identifying risks and recommending solutions
. Lead on fire installation, fire stopping, and repair works, ensuring full compliance with regulations and certification standards
. Oversee site teams to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
. Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records of all works completed
. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
. Monitor performance, manage resources effectively, and resolve on-site issues proactively

About You:

. Proven experience in passive fire protection, including fire door surveying, installation, and fire stopping
. Experience leading teams and managing subcontractors on-site
. Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and industry standards
. Ability to deliver high-quality work while meeting deadlines and budgets

Qualifications:

. Relevant fire safety certifications (e.g. Fire Risk Assessment, Passive Fire Protection, BM TRADA or equivalent)
. Experience in a similar role within building maintenance or construction
. Knowledge of health & safety practices (SMSTS desirable)
. Minimum 2 years' experience in fire door surveying

Full UK driving licence required - Company van provided.
