Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (HGV) Driver to join our team based in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections from our Kidderminster base.
* Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
* Complete all required vehicle and delivery documentation accurately.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
* Adhere to all road transport regulations, including driver hours and tachograph requirements.
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism when representing the company with customers and suppliers.
Working Hours
* Minimum of 40 hours per week.
* Start and finish times may vary depending on delivery schedules and operational requirements.
Pay
* £16.30 per hour.
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
* Valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations.
* A professional attitude with strong reliability and timekeeping.
Location
Candidates residing locally to Kidderminster are preferred to support operational efficiency and scheduling.
