Junior Estimator

We’re working with a well‑established main contractor who are looking for a Junior Estimator to handle their steady stream of small works enquiries. It’s a great role for someone early in their estimating career who enjoys organising information, putting quotes together and keeping things moving.

You’ll be responsible for managing your own small works tenders from enquiry through to quote, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to make sure everything is priced accurately and returned on time. The workload is manageable, the environment is friendly, and they’re looking for someone who enjoys a consistent role rather than chasing a ladder or getting thrown into large, high‑pressure schemes.

What you’ll be doing:

Receiving and reviewing small works enquiries
Preparing quotes and pulling together the right information
Speaking with suppliers and internal contacts to confirm costs
Keeping systems updated and ensuring accurate documentation
Managing your own workload and returning quotes in good timeWhat they’re looking for:

Some experience in estimating, pricing, bids or small works admin
Confidence with numbers, detail and basic scopes
