Interaction is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food wholesaler in Watford for a hybrid 3.5-ton driver/warehouse operative position. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a dynamic and growing business.

About the Role:

As a 3.5-Ton Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a hybrid capacity. Your responsibilities will include both driving and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and smooth running of warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving:

Operate a 3.5-ton vehicle to deliver food products to various locations.
Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Warehouse Duties:

Assist in stock management, picking, packing, and loading/unloading goods.
Contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring a tidy and efficient working environment.
Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.

Requirements:

Full UK driving license (Category B for 3.5-ton vehicles).
Proven experience in driving 3.5-ton vehicles.
Previous warehouse experience (manual handling, picking, and packing).
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Good communication skills.

What’s on Offer:

Hourly Rate: £14 per hour.
Working Hours: 07:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Full-time, permanent position.
Overtime opportunities available.
