This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Gluing Operator who is confident in setting up and running folder/gluer machines and is now looking to take the next step into a Technical Lead position. As a Gluing Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality carton production for the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate folder/gluer machines as an experienced Gluing Operator
* Prepare and make ready jobs to meet production requirements
* Monitor production output, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
* Complete production and quality control documentation accurately
* Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks
* Work collaboratively with the team to maintain an efficient workflow
* Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Gluing Operator
* Strong knowledge of folder/gluer setup, operation, and troubleshooting
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
* Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
Shift Pattern:
* Alternating weekly shifts:
* Monday – Thursday: 14:00 – 22:30, Friday: 14:00 – 20:00
* Monday – Friday: 06:00 – 14:00
