How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description

    A lovely nursery that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Montessori pedagogy. The nursery staff are made up of a close supportive team, passionate about children's development and encourage self-development within the team. The nursery environment has been carefully developed to inspire and motivate children to be independent and curious learners. Their unique curriculum follows a child-centred approach which enables the development of the whole child as well as following their individual interests and encouraging them to become independent thinkers.
    Your new role

    We are looking for a Baby Room Leader r to join our team at our nursery in Hove.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    Supporting and promoting children's early education and development
    Planning and providing effective care
    Making accurate and productive use of assessment
    Developing effective and informed practice
    Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
    Working in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals.
    What you'll need to succeed

    Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
    At least 1 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
    All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
