Accounts Assistant

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a local and established manufacturing business in Poole in their search for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis.

Key Details:

Location: Poole
Contract: Temp to perm
Salary: £28,00 £30,000/equivalent hourly rate 
Working pattern: 5 days in office
Responsibilities:

Processing supplier invoices and managing the accounts payable ledger
Raising sales invoices and supporting accounts receivable activities
Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
Supporting month-end close, including journals and accruals
Handling queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts payable or receivable
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confident using Excel and accounting systems
Proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Part-qualification or active studying of AAT/ACCA/CIMA preferred
