Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Primary SEN division based in Wolverhampton. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of SEND needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a mixture of SEND needs in both group and one-to-one settings
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities
Lead small group interventions under the direction of teaching staff
Provide one-to-one support where required
Implement effective behaviour management strategies
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentRequirements:

Recent and relevant experience working with children with SEND
Strong behaviour management skills
A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN support
A proactive, patient, and flexible approach
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new oneWhat We Offer:
