This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated trainee to build a long-term career as a Robot Welder Operator, working with advanced automated welding systems in a busy engineering environment.

As a Trainee Robot Welder Operator, you will learn how to set up, run, and maintain automated welding robots used to produce metal components. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or engineering qualification, or someone with welding knowledge.

Key Responsibilities (Training Provided)

*Loading and adjusting welding programs

*Positioning fixtures and setting tooling

*Ensuring correct parameters before production runs

*Observing robot movements and arc stability

*Checking weld bead appearance and identifying anomalies in real time

*Ensuring all finished parts meet engineering drawings and specifications

*Addressing issues such as wire feed interruptions or gas flow problems

*cleaning welding equipment and robot torches

*replacing consumables (nozzles, liners, contact tips)

*Completing daily safety and equipment checks

What We're Looking For

*A mechanical or engineering qualification, or hands on welding experience

*Ability to read and understand drawings

*Basic knowledge of MIG or TIG welding (advantageous but not essential - training will be provided)

*A practical mindset with strong attention to detail

*Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced production setting
