    Job description

    Recruitment Solutions are working with one of our oldest Clients to appoint an Accounts Clerk.

    Our Client was established in the 1990’s – original working from Offices on the edge of Bury – they now reside in Offices in Trafford Park.

    We are working to appoint an Accounts Clerk to work within Central Finance. Reporting to the Accounts Manager you will work closely with the Head of Finance and both the AP and AR Team leaders as you role will cross both Ledgers.

    Our Client works fully office based – they have created a warm / fun and proactive work culture at their Head Office Site – being in the office assists with building strong cross department relationships. They want to build a team that like coming into the office and using the Restaurant / Gym etc.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

    * An Annual Basic Salary of c £30,000

    * 22 days Holiday PLUS BANK HOLS

    * Work from home days will be offered AFTER probation

    * Annual Salary Review and potential Profit Share Rewards – based on KPI’s

    * On Site Car Parking

    * Negotiable – start and finish times

    * Gym / Restaurant Facilities

    THE ROLE FOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – and an insight into our Clients Expectations

    Our Client is looking to appoint a flexible / hands on and ‘can do’ Accounts Assistant – this means

    * You will be able to build Internal and External relationships across Purchase and Sales Ledger and externally with Suppliers

    * Assist with the Legal Compliance of set up of new Suppliers and establishing Payment Terms

    * Assist with preparation for Month End – to include Supplier Statement Reconciliations / Suspense Account Review and missed Payments

    * Assist with preparation of Inter Company Reconciliations

    * Be responsible for Payment of Staff Expenses

    * Daily / Weekly Code Batch and Post Stock and Non Stock Purchase Ledger Invoices

    * Payment Review for Month End – Payments in and out

    * Ad hoc duties
