    Admin Assistant | Burton On Trent (DE11) | Up to £14 Per Hour | 5 hours per day (11:30am - 4:30pm) | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm

    Long Term Futures are working with a supportive and welcoming school in Burton on Trent (DE11) seeking a confident, resilient and personable Admin Assistant to join their team. This is a front-of-house role requiring professionalism, warmth and a proactive approach every single day. This is a highly visible role within the school, so being consistently welcoming, organised and approachable is essential. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in administration, but who brings the right attitude and energy to a busy school environment.

    Please note: This Admin Assistant role is on a Temp to Perm Contract, 5 hours per day (11:30am - 4:30pm), and hours are not negotiable and this is term time only.

    Your Role

    As the first point of contact for visitors, staff and pupils, you will:

    Provide daily administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff across two sites
    Manage diaries, schedule meetings and take notes at HR meetings
    Maintain accurate staff files, attendance and absence records
    Assist with onboarding, training and staff events including celebrations and INSET days
    Handle calls, emails and reception/front-of-house duties when required
    Order supplies and manage both paper and digital filing systems efficiently
    Build positive, professional relationships with staff, pupils and visitorsWhat We're Looking For

    You must have a driving licence to work between two sites
    You must have a DBS on the Update System
    Previous experience in administration, office support or receptionist roles
    Experience working with children (preferred) and confidence interacting with pupils, including those who may present challenges
    Friendly, welcoming and professional always, a true front-of-house presence
    A strong team player with excellent communication skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
    Confident using Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceAbout Long Term Futures
