How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Technical Sales Manager / Business Development – HVAC / Air Distribution

    Let’s be honest. Most “sales” roles in construction and HVAC are about chasing quotes and defending price. This isn’t one of those roles.

    We’re looking for a technically minded Project Partner — someone with contracts or project management experience — who wants to step into a client-facing role supporting contractors and consultants on complex projects. You’ll guide specification decisions, support delivery, and protect project value from start to finish.

    What You’ll Do

    Support Projects from Start to Finish

    * Be the trusted partner for contractors and consulting engineers.

    * Guide projects from specification to installation.

    * Attend sites when needed to ensure quality and smooth delivery.

    Build and Protect Relationships

    * Become the go-to technical contact for your accounts.

    * Help embed solutions into designs at the earliest stage.

    * Represent the business at industry events and workshops.

    Influence Design and Specification

    * Translate technical knowledge into practical project solutions.

    * Deliver presentations or workshops to demonstrate product benefits.

    * Turn technical discussions into outcomes that stick.

    Contribute to Growth

    * Spot opportunities early and support conversion of specification into delivery.

    * Collaborate with leadership to align project and commercial goals.

    Who You Are

    * Experienced in contracts or project management on technical projects.

    * Comfortable discussing engineering principles and design challenges.

    * Commercially aware and proactive — you own projects from start to finish.

    * Curious, credible, and solution-focused.

    Design knowledge is useful, but credibility, technical curiosity, and the ability to guide projects matter more.
