The Role
As Head of Guarantees & Product Development, you will:
* Create innovative, market‑ready guarantee products that unlock delivery and crowd in private capital.
* Lead product strategy from idea to operational launch, ensuring alignment with NHB's mandate and risk appetite.
* Work directly with lenders, investors, developers and local partners to validate market need.
* Bring stakeholders across policy, legal, risk, operations and finance together to shape investable, scalable solutions.
* Build compelling business cases and documentation demonstrating impact, value and deliverability.

About You
You bring:
* Strong product development experience in housing, regeneration, finance, or credit/guarantee structures.
* Deep understanding of the UK residential investment landscape.
* Proven ability to engage the market and translate need into practical product design.
* Confidence influencing across complex internal and external environments.
* A balance of commerciality, policy awareness, risk insight and creativity.
Desirable backgrounds: guarantees, housing finance, capital markets, project finance, infrastructure investment, or public-private investment models.
