Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join a fast-paced, automated distribution environment?
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established distribution operation based in Barton-under-Needwood. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing and forward-thinking team, working with cutting-edge automated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of automated equipment including conveyor systems and associated machinery.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
Work to minimise downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards. Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in a distribution or automated warehouse environment is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of conveyor systems, drives, motors, and control systems.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts (rotating days and nights).
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. What's in it for you?
