Our Energy Division at Trant Engineering Ltd is growing — and we’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS who knows their way around NEC4 contracts and thrives on complex civil engineering projects.
You’ll be joining a business with real momentum, working on a major infrastructure scheme involving RC structures, roads, drainage, steel frame and cladding.
What you’ll be doing
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll take ownership of key commercial activities:
* Managing valuations & CVRs
* Remeasuring works and tracking installed quantities
* Handling change control and variations
* Procuring and managing subcontractors
* Overseeing subcontractor payments
* Producing monthly commercial reports
* Forecasting cash flow and managing risk
* Supporting dispute resolution
* Driving projects through to final account
What we’re looking for
* Experience as a QS or Senior QS in civil engineering / infrastructure
* Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts
* HNC / HND / Degree (or equivalent experience)
* CSCS card
* Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and proactive
