About the Role
Stafforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC or Manual Horizontal Borer Operator to join a well‑established engineering business based in Worksop.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC or manual horizontal boring machines to produce precision‑engineered components
Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
Set up machines, tooling, and workpieces accurately
Machine components to tight tolerances
Conduct quality checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other measuring tools
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
What We're Looking For
Proven experience operating CNC or manual horizontal borers
Strong understanding of machining processes and engineering drawings
Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
Good problem‑solving skills
Commitment to safe working practices

39 hours per week
Regular day shifts
£18 per hour
Overtime available at enhanced rates
