We are working with a growing and well-established pumps and mechanical services business to recruit an Operations Manager to lead service delivery across key contracts and regions.
This role will suit someone with a strong mechanical pumps background, ideally gained within healthcare, education, or estates environments, who understands the importance of compliance, uptime, and critical asset management.
The Role
* Oversee day-to-day operations across sites in Glasgow and Manchester
* Lead and manage engineering teams delivering maintenance and project works
* Ensure high levels of service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction
* Drive operational performance across PPM, reactive works, and small projects
* Manage budgets, resources, and commercial performance
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
* Support business growth and identify new opportunities
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in mechanical engineering / pumps
* Experience working within healthcare, NHS, estates, or education environments
* Proven leadership experience managing engineering or operational teams
* Good understanding of compliance, critical environments, and service delivery
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and performance
* Willingness to travel between Manchester and Glasgow
