Accounts Assistant

An established and growing business in Atherstone is looking to appoint a confident, hands‑on Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a sole‑charge AP position, ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and being the go‑to person for all things payable.You'll be working in modern, newly refurbished offices as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Your new role

Managing the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable process
Processing approximately 600 invoices per month (low volume, mixture of automated and some manual input)
Posting cash and bank reconciliation
Handling payment runs
Manually matching POs (straightforward process)
Resolving invoice and supplier queries
Occasional support with sales invoice processing
General finance system and administrative duties
What you'll need to succeed

Have experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a sole‑charge or highly autonomous AP role
Are confident managing your own workload
Have good attention to detail and enjoy process‑driven work
Are comfortable working in an office full‑time
