The Role
In this Science Technician position, you will provide essential support in the classroom and laboratory. Working closely with teachers, you will ensure lessons run smoothly and safely while helping students gain hands-on experience with scientific equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory equipment and materials for lessons
Support practical experiments and demonstrations
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
Maintain and organise stock and lab resources
Assist students in using equipment safely and effectively
Support teachers in delivering engaging practical science lessons
Requirements:
Previous experience in a UK secondary school science lab is essential
Knowledge of lab equipment and safety protocols
Excellent communication and organisational skills
