Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting a proactive Warehouse Operative for a rapidly expanding logistics operation. In this role, you will manage activities across two warehouse sites, acting as the vital link between the warehouse floor and the office team. Consequently, your primary focus will be ensuring peak operational efficiency across both locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Multi-Site Management: Oversee daily operations and provide team leadership across two local facilities.
* Operational Flow: Supervise staff and manage shipping deadlines while coordinating closely with the Logistics Administrator.
* Inventory & IT: Maintain stock accuracy by utilizing Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and handheld scanners.
* Safety & Standards: Enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a compliant environment and oversee general warehouse upkeep.
* Problem Solving: Resolve operational bottlenecks as well as any inventory discrepancies that arise.
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence: You must have your own transport in order to move between sites daily.
* Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or senior role is essential.
* IT Literacy: Furthermore, you should be proficient in using WMS and general office systems.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills are required to effectively liaise with management.
