This very successful, leading main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Design Manager to join an existing healthcare project in Kent. Your contract will start immediately and will be for a minimum period of 9 months working freelance on an Umbrella CIS basis.
The project you will be stepping into as Design Manager is under-way and consists of a variety of refurbishments, fitouts and upgrades. These include ward upgrades, FM and other hospital facilities.
You will as Design Manager have experience of main contracting projects and may have experience in both refurb and new builds. It is not essential to have hospital experience, however it would be a benefit.
For this Design Manager position you will have at least 7yrs working directly for a main contractor in the role of Design Manager. Your background and training may be Architectural or construction however, you must have been employed by a recognised Tier 1 or 2 contractor. A UK construction qualification is essential.
