️ Telehandler Operator - Tunbridge Wells

Randstad is seeking a competent and confident Telehandler Operator for a project in Tunbridge Wells. This is a key role on a busy site, requiring a driver who is proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

Vehicle Loading/Unloading: Safely unloading site materials from various lorries and distributing them to the correct storage areas.

Sub-contractor Liaison: Working closely with all sub-contractors on-site to ensure they have the materials required to keep the build moving.

Site Organization: Maintaining a clean and organised laydown area and assisting with waste management (moving skips/bins).

Weight Distribution: Ensuring all loads are balanced and safe for transport across different terrains.

Safety Checks: Conducting daily pre-start inspections on the machine and reporting any defects immediately.

What You Must Have

To be successful in this application, you will need:

Valid Tickets: A current CPCS or NPORS card.

References: 2 professional references specifically regarding your finishing or site work.

Compliance: Full Eligibility to work in the UK and your own full PPE.

Confidence: The ability to maneuver in tight spaces and communicate effectively via radio or hand signals.
